How is my freight calculated?
Freight is worked out on a per order basis, the price of freight will vary due to size, weight, and destination. We will notify you as soon as we obtain a price, we shall then contact you for payment with the total price of the goods plus freight charges.
Do you have to be a trimmer or restorer to buy from Classic British and German?
No anyone at all may purchase off the site, although if you would like to have us find someone suitable to do the work we can be contacted for some advice.
I''ve ordered some material and it has arrived but it is the wrong color?
If you have ordered material and we have cut what you had ordered and there is no mistake we don''t accept cut lengths back. if you are unsure we can always send you a small cutting first to check against your existing material.
How much material do I need for this?
We can help if you are unsure we would give you an estimate for what we would expect to use, it is always best to allow at least .5 mt extra.
Do you have the original material for my car?
We endeavour to obtain the original material at all times, but due to the closure of some of the original factories we have to use the availalbe reproductions. Thus sometimes there maybe a slight variation to the original cloth.
I live interstate is it possible to purchase still?
Yes we ship to all destinations.
What information do you need for ordering a seat cover set?
We require the VIN number of the car, the year of manufacture, model of the car, left or right hand drive, automatic or manual, body type and finally the colour code from OUR range of options.
Do you go to car shows trade shows etc.
Yes we do, we will eventually have all this information displayed on this site. If you wanted to pick up an order from a show I''m sure we could organise this it would be best to organise this several days before the show.
Can you retrim my seats etc?
At Classic British and German we don''t do any retrimming but we have a sister company that does specialise in this sort of work, it is called Pro-Stitch Motor Trimming and is also based in Carlton NSW 02 9547 3424. |
